Course Summary:

The aim of these qualifications is to recognise the application of a range of IT user skills, knowledge and understanding. OCR’s new ITQ provides increased flexibility and choice for candidates and centres, allowing them the opportunity to use any method, or combination of methods, which clearly demonstrates that the learning outcomes and assessment criteria have been met by candidates. It is, however, important that candidates submit actual work and that professional discussion and tutor observation are only used to support actual work. Minimum of 39 credits are required.

Student Finance for 24+ is available for this course.

  • Spreadsheet software
  • Word processing software

Entry Requirement :

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Students with existing knowledge of one or more of the above units with be considered for Recognition of Prior Learning.

Assessment :

The units are assessed via on-line multiple-choice tests & work based questions or portfolio.

Progression :

Candidates can progress to next Level 4 or equivalenet management qualifications..

Entry Route :

This qualification is ideal for those already working in an administrative/ ITrole and wanting to develop their knowledge in order to enhance career prospects. Alternatively, they are aimed at any candidate wanting to develop a broad, in-depth understanding of business and administrative knowledge, with a view to preparing for high level employment in the administration field. It is not mandatory that the candidates should be working.

What will you learn :

The qualification provides candidates with the essential underpinning knowledge and understanding that would be needed by a competent employee functioning in administrative and supervisory job roles.

Duration and Timing options :

The students can enrol to study the course from any unit as the syllabus is taught in rolling units.

Six Months : EVERY THRUSDAYS FROM 10AM TO 2PM
