About the Course

A range of basic accounting principles and techniques, from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounting. Ideal if you are new to finance or you want to brush up on your foundation knowledge and skills. Once you have completed the introductory level, you'll be awarded the AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting which will give you the opportunity to progress studies in AAT Level 3 Diploma in accounting and full membership of the AAT.

  • Bookkeeping Controls (Unit assessment)
  • Elements of Costing (Unit assessment)
  • Work Effectively in Finance (Synoptic assessment including above three units)
  • Using Accounting Software (Unit assessment)

The tutors are professionally qualified and have vast knowledge and practical experience.

Who is this course suitable for?

You do not need to have any previous qualification for doing this course.

What will you learn?

This level will start to develop your skills in double-entry bookkeeping and give you an understanding of management and administrative processes. You'll learn how to use manual and computerised accounting systems and to work with the purchase ledger, sales ledger, general ledger and trial balance.

Qualifications: You will be awarded AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting certificate from the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) once you have passed all unit and synoptic assessments.

Computer Based Exams (CBE)

We offer the facility to take the computer-based exam for all the unit and synoptic assessments at our training centre.

External students may also take an exam at our centre. Please download the form here.

  • You will get in-depth knowledge of each module with guided exam practice. 
  • You will get study material and mock assessments. 

E-Learning :

The students who join our Face to Face or Live Web Classroom courses will have access to FREE E-learning package prepared by our experienced tutors for one year.

Recorded Lectures :

You can watch the live stream of our evening sessions (as per schedule) or recordings from your home or any remote location by logging online if you are unable to attend face to face class.
