About the Course

With this qualification you can build on your knowledge of software packages. You’ll learn practical skills, from using the software, entering accounting transactions and producing a report.

Course Syllabus:

  • Set up accounting software
  • Process sales and purchase transactions
  • Perform bank and cash transactions
  • Perform period and routine tasks
  • Produce reports for customers and suppliers
  • Produce Trial balance and general ledger reports

Minimum Requirements

There are no minimum requirement to do the course. The qualification is ideally suited to a diverse range of people from school leavers to mature learners and career changers.

You do NOT need to be working in Accounts to do this course.

Tutors:

The tutors are professionally qualified and have vast knowledge and practical experience.

Who is this course suitable for?

You do not need to have any previous qualification for doing this course.

What will you learn?

This level will start to develop your skills in  double entry bookkeeping and give you an understanding of management and administrative processes. You'll learn how to use manual and computerised accounting systems and to work with the purchase ledger, sales ledger, general ledger and trial balance.

Trainers:

The training will be provided by qualified trainers who have vast knowledge and practical experience.

Qualifications:

You will be awarded with Level 2 Foundation Award in Accounting Software.

In addition to the tuition fee, students will need to register with AAT and pay registration, unit assessment and synoptic test fees. For more details please visit AAT website at www.aat.org.uk

We offer the facility to take computer based exams for unit and synoptic assessments at our training centre.
