About the course

The purpose of this qualification is to ensure that students are well prepared to progress into a career in business, finance or professional accountancy, or into further education. Students will learn and master financial processes including accounting principles and concepts, advanced bookkeeping and final accounts. They will also understand business issues regarding value-added tax (VAT), which may be known by another name in other countries) issues in business, management accounting costing techniques and ethical practices for accountants. This qualification further delivers software skills through spreadsheet training for accounting.

All of the units within this qualification are mandatory. Four units are assessed individually in end-of-unit assessments. This qualification also includes a synoptic assessment that students sit towards the end of the qualification, which draws on and assesses knowledge and understanding from across the qualification.

The tutors are professionally qualified and have vast knowledge and practical experience.

Who is this course suitable for?

You should have completed AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting Level 2 or equivalent accounting qualification. If you have equivalent accounting qualification or experience you can check your suitability for the course at AAT Skill Check website.

 What will you learn?

This level introduces more complicated accounting tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole trader and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns.

Qualifications:

You will be awarded AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 from Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) once you have passed all the units and synoptic assessment.

In addition to the tuition fee, students will need to register with AAT and pay registration, unit and synoptic assessment fees. For more details please visit AAT website at www.aat.org.uk

Computer Based Exams (CBE)

We offer the facility to take computer-based exams for all the units and synoptic assessments at our training centre.

External students may also take an exam at our centre. Please download the form here.

How it works :

We have Live Web Classroom sessions on Saturday (10am to 2pm). 

The students can interact with the tutor through web meeting software same as in the face to face classroom.

You can watch the live stream of classroom sessions or recordings from your home or any remote location by logging online if you are unable to attend any session as per timetable.

E-Learning :

The students who join our Face to Face or Live Web Classroom courses will have access to FREE E-learning package for one year prepared by our experienced tutors.
